is this a trick question? ;)

thus the conundrum. what is the 'correct' part for a bike that only came as a frameset? the one that was put on by the original owner at the time of original build? or the one they would've liked to have put on but didn't because XYZ reason?

as for the brochure image, why wouldn't gios have presented their bikes with top-of-the-line components showing what you could have, even though i would guess many were put together with a hodgepodge of parts.

A quick question, which is the correct rear derailleur for a 1981 Gios Super Record? The reason I ask, is that my Gios has a '81 Nuovo Record but in some brochues I see it equipped with a Super Record derailleur, which would make sense.
