As far as I'm concerned, the only thing that's even remotely cool, then or now, is riding bikes built by people in one-man shops, who had an association with A.S.Gillott and/or Witcomb Cycles.

And the bikes have to be outfitted with Campagnolo kit.

But I'm biased.

Masis are for Freds.

Confentes are for uber-Freds with too much money.
