Can anyone tell me if the Brooks Swift Ti leather saddle was made as far back as 1987? I am looking for a good, relatively lightweight saddle for my 1987 Mercian funny bike rebuild, and the Swift Ti caught my fancy. I used to race on an Ideale Professional in the 70's have always liked the look and feel of the all-leather saddles. The Brooks isn't the lightest, but with the titanium rails it isn't too bad and would add some vintage charm to a really radical bike. Anyone with some information to pass along?
