Different for track if you are talking about the double straps, like the nice Toshis that Harris Cyclery sells. Otherwise, the same except for the tendency to be beefy, or some prefer nylon now, so that a brick s&*% house going around a track at sixty-seventy miles an hour doesn't tear out of them. I have never seen different hardware used.
