For anyone interested in Gitane bicycles, we have posted several catalogues (and other information) for your viewing pleasure on our "Gitane fan" website at

Included are the 1970 US catalogue, an early 1970's french brochure featuring some models, a 1978 french catalogue, and the 1983 US catalogue.
We don't yet have a website, so you'll have to "join" the club before being allowed to view the pictures in the photos section. Hopefully, we will have all of this up on the classic rendezvous Gitane page before long! A word of warning: Because it is a "Gitane" website, it does have a few bikes which are made of products other than steel!
