Subject: [CR]NAHBS- Baylis frame for Wayne Bingham

Well, I don't know where to start - but let me say that the NAHBS was a great event and anyone who wanted to know about framebuilding got a lot out of this first time ever meeting of framebuilders. The atmosphere was tremendous. I gained an even greater level of respect for this very creative, mutually supportive, and truly friendly group. I hope this is the beginning of a tradition.

I promised to take some pictures of the show and I must say that my efforts yielded mixed results. I am not a great photographer and am still getting the hang of my digital camera. I was simply taking handheld snapshots with available light and no tripod - some images are understandably blurry. Nonetheless, I did get some decent shots that will take me some time to organize and post. I took photos at a medium resolution(1200x1600) so the download times may be an issue. If the viewing times are too slow - please let me know as I believe that I can load them at a lower resolution for future pics of the show.

I took almost 200 photos but many will be of little interest to the CR list.

I will be adding and updating folders that show some of the highlights of the show that may be of interest to the group. In particular the exhibits of Brian Baylis, Richard Sachs, Doug Fattic, and Sacha White were of interest. I must say that BB got a lot of pics because of the level of detail in his lugs and that there aren't that many good pics of Brian's work floating around like Richard's work(no slight intended either way).

The first batch is of a recently completed frame by Brian Baylis for Wayne Bingham. The pictures speak for themselves. Unfortunately, I did not get a good overall shot so you have to assemble the bike in your head. Enjoy! If you have any questions, I'l do my best to answer what I know.

Wayne - enjoy! This is one very fine frame.
