OK... I believe you Mike. All those millions of Frenchmen who said "I want a Singer. I want a Herse" and they got stuck with a Peugeot!!

The essential thing here is obviously to find a maker of a mass product, like a bicycle, that made a product that the masses didn't know of or bought. And then say it defined what the masses wanted. Talk about subliminal marketing!

If that held true with the motorcar and Ford let companies like Opel or Simplex define what that automobile was or could be, we'd all be cycling or riding horses... and yes, now I see your point!!
