I went to answer these scammers once, giving them phony info, but every time I went to continue on, a pop-up would warn me. So someone is on top of it.

DO NOT respond. This is a scam. The internet has been flooded with these things for months. I probably get a half a dozen such messages a week, sometimes more. These scammers "suspended" my eBay and PayPal accounts many times, beginning months ago, for ignoring their fraduent messages. Funny, the "suspensions" haven't prevented me buying things on eBay or paying with PayPal. Evidently, eBay and PayPal are well aware of these scams, but cannot stop them as they mostly originate in countries beyond the reach of American law or effective international treaties.

When I go to the above URL, it ask for all sorts of information, including my SSN. This seem dubious to me--but the return address on the e-mail is eBay@eBay.com
My gut is to ignore this message--but I would hate to bid on something at the last minute only to find out that my account was "suspended"
