Please mark your calendars for a special vintage ride, Sunday February 13, 2004. We will be celebrating Ernesto Colnago's Birthday, which falls in the previous week (the 9th I believe, but I may be off by a day).
Bring your Colnago, the older the better, but if you don't have a Colnago, feel free to come on any stylish Italian steed, or whatever you have.
The ride will begin and end at the Dana Point Marina in south Orange County. The route, tentatively, will take in a number of paved bike paths that run throughout some pretty country in Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, and other communities in the area, possibly including Laguna Beach, depending on how ambitious we're feeling. We could even go by Marcel Calborne's BiciSport in Laguna Hills..he usually has a few interesting Colnagos on display...
Let's hope for sunshine... rain cancels. The ride will begin at 10am.
