I believe that Yoshi Konno may have apprenticed at Cherubim DB Ak, NZ

Hope Eastern CR listers are surviving the winter OK. I'd need a jug of something purty strong in -60 conditions.

I'm buying a Japanese bike; a Cherubim. Haven't seen it yet, but it's an older one. I had a Zunow at one point, & believe the Cherubim & Zunow were separate brands formed by ex-3Rensho employees. Any truth to this? The Zunow was art deco-cool, with seriously odd features, such as biplane rear brake bridge & a channel down the top tube. The grainy pix I see searching Japanese websites for 'Cherubim' show a very clean & tidy frame sans frills. Quite excited to get it, but it's also a heck of a long drive; please tell me the Cherubim is as great as the name!
