Subject: [CR]Legnano seatpost binder question

Could someone please let me know if what I am about to describe fits the description for a seatpost binder bolt for a Legnano that binds in front of the seattube?

It looks almost like a crank cotter pin: one end has threads on it and the other end has a piece looking like a cotter pin except beveled in way to fit next to the seatpost. There is another piece that corresponds in shape and size to the end piece on bolt-cotterpin looking piece. This piece, also beveled, slips onto the other piece and then is tightened with a nut. Regardless of whether autthentic or not, it works; that's important. Never having taken the oppportunity to examine one, I would like to know whether this piece is the "right" one or a homemade one.

Thank you.

Cheers.
