Kevin, As the 'head snob' who put on the ride I would say we had an Awesome time and you missed out! I had several people e-mail to ask if this-or-that Masi would be ok.... NOBODY was denied. While the focus was on the bikes you quoted below, there were no prohibitions...Did I miss YOUR e-mail???

I have been called an elitist and snob before simply because I focus on riding/procuring specific bikes of a particular make, model or timeframe. This is not to the automatic exclusion of other models or makes or that I think any other bike is bad or uncool. Life can be cruel, but it's not as often as you think.

Matt Gorski No a snob in real life, just apparently on this list, CA

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for your message. Double-checked the posts on the site, and didn't see any mention of San Marcos Masi's being welcome or invited to the ride --- here's what I read, and it did not include the San Marcos location:

"Bring out your Masi Special's, Italian or Carlsbad Gran Criteriums, or even your Early 3V/Prestige."

Maybe I simply missed some other official posting for the ride??? Oh well, back to my winter hibernation snooze.

Kindest Regards, Kevin Kruger - Grantville, PA
