Those were built in 1973 for Ray Florman (A-1 Cycles in St. Louis) by Raul Garza in Atizipan de Zaragoza Mexico (Mexico City suburb). Raul's factory also built all of the Benottos up until virtually all of that production has gone to Asia.
I purchased a Raysport from Ray in 1973 and rode it for a number of years. The paint was indeed poor--rust was a problem.
When I last visited Ray in his shop around 1990 he still had 50 or more frames. John Barron bought a number of them after Ray died a couple of years ago. Ray's son, Ray Jr. still runs the shop.
