It is interesting, mine shelf stock is 100% opposit.

I bought both Mother's chrome polish and "mag and aluminum" polish because I did not know which one to buy.  The chrome polish is more like the Simichrome--it is thin and not too much grit.  But MAG and ALUMINUM polish is "the stuff."  As you know, I use it on everything now.  I threw the Simichrome away.
