Hi Todd, Your point is right on and well taken! My message was to simply point out that these style cleats exist. I don't have any personal experience using them, and suspect that would work best with early (1980s) Look-style shoes versus modern production ones. I would simply search on eBay for old traditional shoes, as they appear on a regular basis, many being unworn NOS. Regards, Kevin Kruger - Grantville, PA
