Hi all, Given that this is my 3rd (and, I promise, final) time posting this, it should be clear that I'd rather have this thing go to a good home than put it on eBay. For those who may have missed it before: I'm selling a nearly-new Mercian King of Mercia Touring frame and fork(s) that I purchased last summer for a tour that never materialized. I put probably 300 miles on it as a shakedown after building it, and it has hung on a hook since then. I'm starting to build frames and have been putting a lot of resources into that, and I'd really like to sell this frameset since I have no plans to ride it any time soon. What it is: Mercian KOM Touring 64cm c-t, 62cm c-c, 60cm tt 72deg seat angle, 73deg head angle 44cm chainstays 20mm headtube extension 135mm rear spacing Bridges/fork tapped to accept fenders Reynolds 725 tubing Clearance for 32C tires with fenders Color is Orange Pearl with a white enamel head tube & five 1" white bands around the seat tube. Lugs are lined in white and, in places, black. Mercian 'Gothic' logo on the downtube. All very classic... Brazeons for 2 H20 bottles, racks, fenders, pump peg, canti brakes. DT shifter bosses. Lowrider mounts on front forks. Includes 2 forks; one 1" threadless (very long), one 1" threaded (long story why there are 2) The invoice in my hand says £714.50 including shipping, which works out to $1345.00. I'd like to get $875 shipped, including the installed Chris King silver headset. Best reasonable offer by this Friday that comes close to that takes it. I have photos of the bike that I'd be happy to send to anybody who's interested...is there a big guy (or really tall gal) out there with a tour coming up this summer?
