Subject: [CR]Very interesting posting from another forum

Here is a posting from another forum that this person choose to list parts for sale. I say interesting because he touts these parts are from an old racing guy. I looked them over and although interesting, nothing very rare.

Ray Homiski Elizabeth, NJ

Sorry to start out my subscription to this list by spamming; I trust you'll excuse this uncouth behavior and at least enjoy looking at these parts.

A still-very active 87 yr.old cyclist in our area, <http://www.msu.edu/~bikes/great-cyclists/page_01.htm>Bob <http://www.msu.edu/~bikes/great-cyclists/page_01.htm>Gibbs, has recently donated a bunch of his older bike parts from his collection (that goes back to the 50's when he started commuting about 24 miles daily thru 1980) to the http://www.msu.edu/~bikes/>MSU<http://www.msu.edu/~bikes/ Bike Project for which I'm a volunteer.

I've pulled the more interesting and hopefully collectible parts, photographed and captioned them as best as possible here: http://www.potterspix.com/misc/bike-parts/

If any of you are willing to help ID/ date these parts I'd appreciate it. Also, I'd be happy to accept any offers for the entire collection for the next week. If there's much interest I'll inform those who've contacted me of the highest bid via off-line email. I'd rather not deal w/ lots of small transactions, so please only offers for the entire collection. Shipping will be addtl. (actual charges only thru whatever the buyer requests). As the web pages note, 100% of the proceeds will go to the MSU Bike Project which recycles abandoned/ donated bikes and loans them out to faculty/ staff/ students on our campus.

Thanks for your consideration,
Tim Potter
