I don't think this is such a great idea but I instead offer up an alternative...
How about a contest for the sloppiest built frame (most file marks, etc.) that some one will still pay $2500.00 (or more) for?
Said tongue in cheek, as I think everyone really knows that refinement and finish count big time...
