Subject: [CR]early Cinelli alloy bars

I thought that I had a reasonable hold upon the various changes in the Cinelli alloy handlebar and stem production. I have noted the following changes and was wondering if anybody would be willing to help create a timeline:

Handle bars: anodized and non-anodized, 26.0 mm diameter and 26.4 mm diameter, with or without model number stamped into the side of the drops, with crest or with flying C, with double crest instead of model name, with two or three serrated rings at the stem position.

I was under the impression that non-anodized preceded anodized, that 26.4 mm preceded 26.0 mm, that no model number stamp preceded stamped model number, that crest preceded flying C (I am certain of this one!), that the double crest stamping were generally errors and that the two rings of serrated rings preceded the three serrated rings.

Does anybody have any comments?

I will prepare a similar post giving variations that can be found on the 1A stems.
