ARMORCOAT is a clear aftermarket paint protection coating. When sprayed over an existing OEM base coat/clear finish, the highly flexible and impenetrable properties of ARMORCOAT will reduce and prevent damage caused by stone chipping, scratches, insects and weathering. ARMORCOAT is invisible to the eye, but is so significantly thicker and more resilient than traditional OEM clear coat and auto body repair clear that even large stones, which can typically shatter an OEM finish and even leave chips or craters down to bare primer or even metal, leave no damage to vehicles treated with ARMORCOAT paint protection coating.

Designed for cars, trucks, motorhomes, over-the-road trucks, motorcycles and any other painted surface that needs to be protected from the elements and damage that normally occurs during the course of daily driving. ARMORCOAT will not yellow over time, and with the addition of highly advanced UV stablizers, ARMORCOAT will maintain its gloss so it can never be distinguished from the rest of the vehicle's clear OEM apappearance. Like traditional clear coat, ARMORCOAT is completely resistant to gasoline and other chemicals that an automotive finish normally comes in contact with.

I will try to find a can and spray and older frame. Say just the drop outs and see how it looks and works

We used to call them "the last ointment" or "extreme unction" because that was what it was; corrossion would start to spread under and where was nothing you could do about it.

It will be intersting to hear of your experiments, but donĀ“t experiment with a your favorite bike.
