Wayne's pictures have been added and thanks Ed Kinney for that Masi water bottle.

Another brief testimonial for the Westminster Swap. The nice riding weather didn't keep the crowds away. Probably as crowded as I've seen it. Lot's of CR folks and a nice bit of vintage stuff to keep the interest. Seems the prices were a bit higher this year though. It was too dangerous having a table next to the Sanford brothers. I kept going over there and seeing something else I wanted. My friend Ed Kinney begged into my space after all the available spots were gone. He brought a bunch of paper (catalogs, calendars and stuff), a bunch of pins and bottles and other cool temptations, including a really nice Masi water bottle. I ended up buying all his stickers and some Campy product line catalogs for the early 90's (off topic - you guys wouldn't want that stuff). I gotta stay away from my friends. I keep buying their stuff!

Lots of great deals if you wanted contemporary stuff. Dan Artly got a killer deal on a lugged Bianchi with Campy Ergo 9sp and a Racing-T crank for $450!

Not as much mountain bike stuff this time. Probably reflects the market in general.

All in all, a great cure for the mid-Winter blues, even if it was 55 degrees outside.

Mike Schmidt will post some of my pix to his Wool Jersey Gallery album tonight.

Even though it was a beautiful day for riding in the East, a very large crowd turned up at the annual Wastminster Swap. There was a very good turnout from the vintage community (well over a dozen CR regulars there), although some of the Philadelphia group left a bit early - something about a football game...

I saw a lot of nice vintage bits, and for once sold a lot more than I bought. It was just so crowded that making my way from the front to the restrooms in the rear was such a struggle that I didn't really look at that much stuff, and my goal was to sell rather than buy. There was a tremendous interest in fixed-gear stuff, and both Ken and I sold vintage Track stuff at ebay type prices. It was well worth the trip for me, as well as a good opportunity to talk to other CR people.
