Chris, I don't know whether the "New World" bicycles were originally sold as true track racing bicycles or if they came with coaster brakes or whatever... But the "New World" models were made from seamless Chrome-Moly tubing and were fillet brazed. So they do have some value as collectable lightweights and converting one, even in the past, to track use or to a road going fixed-gear wouldn't be unreasonable. These were build in the same frame shop as the Paramounts and the Superiors. What I definitely do not know is how the New World models differed from the Superiors. To be honest, they look the same to my untrained eyes. Best regards, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia
