The plan to start a show in the Midwest are progressing with a few sites still to visit, but for convenience to local transportation, airport, hotel accomodations nearby, and lots of other logistical things that are needed, the site I'm favoring are the Milwaukee County Fairgrounds in Milwaukee. There is plenty of space for parking, the area is well laid out and has everything that is needed to accomodate a gathering of cyclists. The date so far looks like the third or fouth weekend of August, unless there are other competing events. I'm hoping we'll attract cyclist from throughout the surrounding Midwest. As soon as the location is finalized with a date I'll get back to everyone.

A website will also be set up with registration forms, direction, links to other sites.

I've had a few folks ask to help in planning of the event, whether we have seminars, rides etc. We are planning on both a Swap and Concourse to start. If anyone is interested in helping to plan, organize, or just suggest ideas, all are welcome. Please contact me at my email address:

Peter: Sounds great - please do keep us posted. Just one little nit to pick, if I may - you want to have a "concours," not a "concourse." A concourse is where you board a 'plane (for example...). Concours is short for "Concours d'Elegance." Merci, Greg "Sheldon wannabe today" Parker Dexter, Michigan P.S. Yes, I left out the accent aigu, for Web formatting reasons. Flames not necessary. :-)
