Subject: [CR]British made sprint rims

Hi Peter, the most sought after Brit made sprint rims are by Constrictor. The Asp was available in sprint form I believe and they offered the "Supalatti" in the mid fifties. With a name like that it was obviously trying to sound Continental but sounds more like an expensive coffee to me! They were made of "Conloy" which is Constrictors pet name for Duralumin. I dont believe Dunlop made one but there may well be others. I would like to know if any UK tyre makers made Tubs.
