If it were just five (tough choices) they'd all have to be riders.

1. Richard Sach's latest, greatest with all record ergo, clinchers & racing triple for these old legs painted to match my touring bike, No. 3

2. Cinelli Super Corsa, early 70's, Campy NR in silver, two sets of wheels, tubulars and clinchers.

3. Richard Sach's tourer, 1978 all kitted out with that era's nicest touring components. Got it!

4. Could be a new Mercian path? with Vincitore lugs, fixed gear specific, track ends w/ brazeons for fenders and drilled for brakes, with road geometry, Stronglight 49D cranks, and a nice mix of parts with a double fixed rear and clinchers.

5. A '70's Jack Taylor touring bike, Reynolds 531, with all the custom racks and fenders, canvas and leather bags and tons of pin striping. Again with all those perfect late '70's touring parts, brazed on posts for the center pull brakes and half step plus granny gearing.

I could do pretty well with that! I certainly couldn't want for more. I do have one of them, leaves me some dreams to fulfill. Realistically though, there oughta' be at least one beater bike to ride of the bunch when the weather sucks. You just gotta keep getting out there!
