I have seen wheels slip in the drop outs when some hammer head sprinter jumps on it. It never happened to me before. And yes chrome not put on well can and does flake off. I would be more concerned about the slipping. Well not me really because I could never sprint anyway. Steve

Hi all, I am curious if anyone has ever experienced any heartache over chrome dropouts, such as the wheels not biting into the chrome very well, chrome flaking off, etc. My application here specifically is for a track bike or road fixed gear.
