I have categories, just the way my brain functions. First, the bikes I've owned or tried to buy but have gotten away:

1. Francisco Cuevas currently owned by J.D. Edwards. Bought it in Albuquerque, delivered it to J.D. in Florida and now J.D. lives in Albuquerque--full circle.

2. Confente, fully pantographed. Bike was in Albuquerque. I couldn't afford it, so told Jim Cunningham, who told Mike Kone, who bought it, then sold it.

3. Derosa Professional. People ask me what the best riding bike I've ever ridden and I can't think of one that surpasses the Derosa.

4. Chris Kvale. Someone needed this one more than me and I hope they are enjoying it.

Bikes I have never owned or really seen many, but have admired from afar:

1. Richard Moon

2. Roberson

3. Doug Fattic

KOF bikes I own or will buy when I can find the one I want at the right price.

1. Richard Sachs. Richie tells me he hasn't "peaked". I'll order mine when he does.

2. Brian Baylis. I hear the notes from final jeopardy playing in my ear.

3. Peter Weigle. The one that was in Bicycling and Playboy magazines in the mid-80s.

4. Columbine. I love John Murphy's work.

I'm sure one of my "neglected" bikes will complain--I think I hear my Redcay sobbing.....Lou Deeter, Orlando FL
