I try not to search after or hope for any particular year or brand but when something strikes my interest, I get it. I also don't set out to build up a bike with componentry from that time exact! I set them up for function where I live and ride them. I look at my stable and although none stand out as really really unique...when you see the set up and the components and added knick knacks...it screams mojo. They all have a bit of character of their own. I have always had a love for Bianchi and I have 4 of them, a cross and 3 roads, none of which are of notable year or componentry of mention except for a C-record equipped one that I adore.

My 60s Flying Scot ranks up there with the best. Beutiful ride, Beautiful frameset, set up as a fixed. My 50s Dawes Red Feather is a dream to whip around on and off road and it is set up as a fixed (path, cross, whatever you prefer to call it). Just say FUN! My 80 Razesa is a lightweight pleasure to ride and I love it also. It has such a great feel for sprinting and climbing!

Walter "too many other projects and bikes to mention" Skrzypek Falls Creek, Pa I currently have one the way in the form of framesets, a 50s MacLean, 30s Rudge, and 48 Hobbs of Barbicon, and a 50 Aprilia CC....to dream how to rig them up is my goal now!
