I will echo pretty much the comments of Ken on this swap. LOL,. they had a bike show, but the categories were balloon tire and stingray, both restored and unrestored. Perhaps we should voice an opinion on that to the organizers. Perhaps we might even consider a table of our own??? I did see a very nice and complete Western Union messenger bike that I had to marvel at.

I saw the Serottas also, and also saw and bought an early SRA 3Rensho with a mix of Campy C-Record, Record components, and Cobalto brakes. Pics are forthcoming. I am probably going to remove the C-Record cranks and derailleurs in favor of some Super Record I have. I find the C-Record stuff unappealing to the eye. Frame is purple and in remarkable shape for a bike that has been raced. A few scuffs on the derailleur and brake levers, nary a scratch on the frame. Techincally the bike is too big for me at 56cm, but my Lejeune is 56cm and I am comfortable on it, moreso than on my 54cm Guerciotti. But that could be 30 years of riding versus a few months. Also scored an SR Guerciotti panto chainring from the same person. Come to think of it, he was the only person there who any of my money. :-)

Andrew at Yellow Jersey has been most helpful in educating me on what I purchased.

We missed an opportunity to meet here....next time, we need to make more of an effort to do so.
