Doug's posting brought up some interesting points. One question that was asked and fell through the cracks concerned base tape. I've used liquid latex but without real success. What do you recommend for repairing base tapes on old tubulars where the tape has begun to seperate from the carcass? Rock n' Roll Lubes has a product called Tube Spooge similiar to Slime and Tufo Sealant that reportedly doesn't have the problems of other similiar products.
