For whatever it's worth: 1) One of Aldo Ross' "Pic Of The Day" photos shows the start of the 1935 French road cycling championships on the autodrome/speedway section of the the circuit. I'm guessing this race included the road portion of the circut as well as local roads. I was thinking of someplace else... 4) Now for a question. When did Mavic start selling rims with the model name of Montlhery? Wouldn't it have been a passé phrase by the 1970s?
