Subject: [CR]New York City Bike Messenger Swap Meet-Saturday 2/19/05

As a reminder, the bike messengers are holding a swap meet this Saturday. The restaurant is actually a ship. I added the link below for youse guys to get a map.

The meet goes from 9AM-2PM or if you are Tom Adams, 0900-1400 ;-).

Unlike other recent east coast meets, you don't have to get up at Oh-dark hours. Reminder that PATH and LIRR run on weekend schedules.

This may be the finest showing of bicycles wrapped in black electrical tape. (its a NYC thing to disguise the frame)

The Lightship "Frying Pan" is located at Pier 63 in Manhattan. Pier 63 is at the end of West 23rd Street at the Westside Highway on the Hudson River. It is just one pier north of the Chelsea Piers Sports & Entertainment Complex. The ship is located at the north end of Pier 63, behind Basketball City.

Entrance by car to the access road serving Pier 63 and Chelsea Piers is made at West 24th Street and the Westside Highway. On site parking is available at additional charge. You can get there by the M23 bus and the nearest subway is the C & E line at 8th Avenue and 23rd Street.
