Eddie; I assume since your from New York, you've probably been to Copake many times as I have. Copake is probably the largest, or atleast one of the largest cycling auctions in the U.S., but has never been a resource for Lightweights. Very rarely will more than one or two modern lightweights turn up. Copake has always been a great event for Antique, Balloon Tire, Stingray cycles and always lots of memoribilia.

The swap on the other hand, in recent years has seen a growth in lightweight goodies and lesser Antique, Balloon, etc. As in Monson, you haveto arrive at the swap very early with sunrise, atleast that the way it's been the number of times I've attended over the years.

It's not that the event purely caters to Antique and Balloon tyre, it's just that's the past history of the event, and collectors of Lightweights knowing this usually stay away except for the swap. A number of times T-Town has been the following day, so folks will attend the swap in Hillsdale and then hop over to T-Town.
