Subject: [CR]Was: Reynolds Tubing, question about 531SL - Now: Tubing Chart

hi everybody,

i took a look at the tubing properties chart from desperado cycles that lou deeter provided a link to:

http://www.desperadocycles.com/The_Lowdown_On_Tubing/Tubing_Properties_For_Non_True_Temper_Tubing.htm

and i have a couple of questions someone might have the answer to.

1. the tubeset weight is based on what size frame or lentgh of tube?

2. columbus sl is listed twice. i believe the first sl is a typo, and should be kl - correct?

3. the listed tubeset weights do not include lug and bb shell weights, right?

4. i was told that i can tell if a frameset is made of record or kl by weighing it, but i'd have to know what the frameset weights for different frame sizes sizes are. is there a chart for that?

thanks in advance for any help you can give me on this.
