The nice thing about the VAR one is that you can get different jaws to accommodate different fixed cup types. The Campy tool only fits Campy-type fixed cups. That accounts for a substantial portion of what you'll find, but eventually you'll run into a different type and have an expensive tool that just won't work on it.
