I have a C Record rear mech, the one that has the spring in the upper pivot point, I think it's a second generation C Record, perhaps the 1987 version, the first generation did not have the spring in the upper pivot point. There is a sleeve that fits into the upper pivot point and holds the spring in place and also has a "stop" on it that mates with the "stop" on the hanger of the rear dropout to prevent the mech from rotating too far forwards is broken, the "stop" on the sleeve has snapped off.
Does anyone have this part? I can't find it anywhere in Toronto or on the various Campagnolo parts sites on the net.
I know it's hard to describe a part so I have put photos on Yahoo at
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/
in the C Record album.
I can forward better versions of these photos to you if you contact me off list.
I need this rear mech repaired to go on my Gios Torino Professional so I can take it to the Cirque (I know Super Record is more period correct but C Record is all I've got).
