An interesting Miyata Six Ten touring bike appeared on e-bay (7140649592). It is 54 cm frame with a 55 cm top tube, which is a top tube length more to my liking. The seller does not supply the year, but it appears to be before 1983 and should be on topic.
Does anyone know if this model, Six Ten (written on the top tube), used double butted tubing?? Any other info is appreciated.
I checked Sheldon's article "Japanese Bicycles". He describes a touring model, 1000, using DB tubing and states the "lesser (but still extremely nice) 610", but does not give tubing info for 610.
