After contemplating restoring this bike for ever (I was 15 or so when I got it and am not 55) I thought it was time to see if anyone out there might actually want to do it. Selling a 56cm c to c Peogeot PX10. At the moment it is a bare frame. I have the original headset, mafac racer levers, AVA bars and the foil red and black head badge (in not great shape). My father bought the bike for me when I was in, what I think they call these days, middle school. It came from the famous NYC bike store which, at the time, was called Steyvesant Bicycle & Toy. I actually remember my father discussing the price with Sal Corso the owner (I think it cost $125) As those of you who are into PX10s know it originally was equipped with Simplex Prestige derailleurs, Ideale saddle, I believe Stronglight cranks, and AVA bars and death stem. Wheels? I don't recall but I think normandy hubs. Anyway It needs a total restoration. It is now white, but was originally blue (this can be seen if one sands off some of the white paint. For the frame, fork and the few parts left I am asking $130 plus shipping at cost. I'm may be a bit flexible. Pics available. $5 extra for paypal. I think I have a set of Normandy period hubs that I would include for $15. Edward Albert in Chappaqua (you can't clutter your life with nostalgia) New York
