The Royal Grande Compe brakes 400 (circa 1985) which came NOS on my Raliegh 531-C had special conical nuts that had rubber bumpers in the allen head. These black rubber fillers get lost easily, so if you get the originals I suggest using some kind of light glue. If you can't get the original conical nuts, then they look similar to those found on other brakes except for the aforementioned black rubber fillers, with slight differences: The hex is 4mm instead of a larger size that Suntour used (I believe- by memory- someone stripped these brakes off a bike of mine back in 1988). The nut is a thin type with the adjusting flats forming the same conical angle (quite racy looking design- very aero- saves 4 seconds every 40,000 miles).
