Good report, Peter. I also had a terrific time this afternoon. Peter is a most accommodating host as well being a true font of classic racing bike knowledge. It was a pleasure meeting him and David, and also to meet Peter's gracious wife, Mary. And the cats, and the Landsharks out in the shop...

It's been a long time since I've been on a ride where sewups outnumbered clinchers (not counting when I ride alone.) I would have been content with a little bit less wind, but you take what you can get this time of year and it turned out to be a very nice afternoon for riding. Watching Paris-Nice on OLNTV made me appreciate just how good we had it.

I'm planning on being in Statesville for the ride next weekend, and I'm looking forward to meeting some more local folks there.

Peace,
