I think it is an early Zunow and well within the time frame.

Later frames using the "horn system" had a special bottom bracket shell to accomodate the oval "horn" of the seat tube.

On David's early frame, the tubes have been blended onto the bottom bracket to stylistically match the 'air foil" head tube treatment.

Interesting frame (was ever a Zunow boring?). Too bad about the rust.
