I just got another mail from the seller of the Masi Prestige on german eBay (Itemnumber:5173834515). They looked again and "found" another digit in the serial numbers at the bb so that it now reads "875" which would indicate 1987 as the year of production and not 1975. Most people have probably already seen at the under bb shifter cables that it is newer than mid 70s.

To bad, seems that the days when I could get a Masi Prestige frame for less then $100 on german eBay are gone forever. So for everybody: I got the information from the seller that the BB is engraved with "57" (the size) and "75", no additional characters. Have Prestiges been built in 1975?
