i have not seen that kind of "bait and switch" tactic before on ebay. perhaps "bait and hope they don't read the rest of the description" would be a better label. either way, has anybody else seen this same type of auction tactic before?

i think dirk has no choice but to pay for his ONE shifter - damn, that's gotta hurt - after all, he can't accuse the seller of not disclosing the terms in the description (he can, however, accuse him of being misleading, and may want to bring this matter to ebay's attention).

i know dirk isn't the only one on this list guilty of not reading an auction description carefully and thoroughly before bidding. i did it recently for a relatively small loss of $65. thanks to dirk for outing himself and reminding us of the need to be wary of impulse/too good to be true buying on ebay.
