Subject: [CR]Help Needed: The Cirque HTML Virtual Catalogue

After Cirque 2004, I chatted with the Kindly Commissar about a small step that might make the vintage show more fun for all. What we propose is a "virtual catalogue." It would comprise a one page sheet on as many bikes as feasible, with basic info and pix for each. Each would be displayed with its bike. My thinking now is that the sheet would be clipped to the saddle or something, so it could be removed by those doing the customary snapshots. Why, you ask, do I need help? Well, first I don't do HTML (yet). Second, I'm sure that my brain doesn't do the best possible content or layout. Third, I'm pretty heavily booked this Spring. So, here's what I'm looking for:

1) Couple of people to review my draft layout for content. I will send a word document to those who ask soon enough to review, comment, rearrange, or whatever. One key question may be setting a size limit for each submission (kBytes), which will limit the resolution of pix.

2) Volunteer to convert this to an HTML form so those who are bringing their bikes can fill in the blanks.

3) Volunteer to check the forms as they come in to be sure they are postable.

4) At least a temporary home in cyberspace. This Generous Soul gets to determine max file size/bike. No, not whether file marks are visible on the back of the bottom bracket (groan).

Thanks, ya'll.
