Attended the NJ Bike Expo today in Edison with two other CR members David Neuhaus and Mike Schmidt. The Expo was okay but the $10 entrance fee is a rip in my opinion. They charge you $10 for the privelage of being able to enter and buy from vendors. I know, they do the same at T-town but that venue is probably 20 times larger at half the price.

Still there was some interesting stuff there to see. Got some photos of some Albert Masi bikes and frames on display. Some of these were pretty nice while others made me shudder with the TIG welding. I also got some shots of the Koga Miyata stand where they had some of the most component equipped bikes I have ever seen. Everything from electrically powered shifting, computers built into stems, disc brakes, integrated locks and much more. Also got a shot of the Van Dessel set up. There was an interesting velodrome simulator set up and Dave took a shot at it. I captured this also. All in all a pretty small venue but worth an afternoon out. It runs tomorrow (Sunday) also. Here is a link to the photos.
