Pete you're a better man than I. If I start to restore something like this it gets the full works, in for a penny, in for a pound as they say. I'll file off and extra brass, fill in brazing voids, thin the lugs, whatever can be done will be done. This could also be the reason that I've only done it a couple times years ago and really prefer bikes with their original patina. Of course I just started a long overdue restoration of an early-60s Olmo I've had in my collection for a few years. So we'll see how long it takes me to do the full monty with this one. best, Brandon"monkeyman"Ives off to a post-run bath in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho
