So, does anyone know what make of bike was Ocana riding, i.e., what decals and who made it? (This is not a rhetorical question, I don't know.) BH? On some stages he was said to use a Speedwell Titanium (painted to match other team bikes) but obviously not at the moment this photo was taken....

The bike that Ocana rode for most of the race was a Motobecane Team Champion. I was working for the US distributor for the marque at the time. However, I also believe that some of Ocana's bikes might have been made by Gemini, as they had the drilled lugs that were also seen on Pierre Trentin's and daniel Morelon's track irons...
