I respectfullly disagree. We live in the 'modern' world. Particularly for list members who might have missed the 'classic era' either by birth or economics, the fit of a 'classic farme' might be all together different than modern ones and a just consideration when pondering purchases of older classic bikes. A shining example is the early 70's Pog now running on ebay. I had wondered whether it would really fit me (for the 2k+ investment). I have a modern IF which is sized at 52 and a Holdsworth Pro which is around 54. Based upon the post---I was and now am even more seriously doubting the investment in a classic bike that might not fit right or may not fit how it was intended to fit.
