kof means "keeper of the flame." the term is an integral part of the cr list and is explained in detail in the cr list rules. i am sure there will be several responses to your question which are more helpful than mine, but i suggest that you nevertheless search the archives, as the answer to your question has been extensively discussed before.
btw, how are you doing with that seat post removal? keep us posted! (sorry for the unintended but nevertheless pretty good pun.)
also btw, i'd like to visit the bike shop you mentioned. i know another lister previously asked for the name of the shop, but i haven't seen a response from you. can you please give us the name?
