Ocana Fans:

There are two full-page photos of Ocana's orange '73 tour bike in a magazine called "Miroir du Tour 73 (Juillet Aout 1973)" that show oval cutouts with white accent paint in the sides of the headlugs, and also white-accented holes in the side of the fork crown. The lugs and the fork crown appear identical to those in Peter's Ebay Gemini photos. Ocana's bike also has braze-on shift levers (like Peter's Gemini).

One can distinguish photos of Ocana as being from the '73 tour by noting his race number, which was 51 that year.

Also, Ocana is shown on a Speedwell in the book "Maillot Jaune", published in 2001 by Velo Press, on Pages 108 & 109. As Norris mentioned, no effort was made to hide it -- it was polished titanium and had all its Speedwell stickers.

This odd style of cut-out is often shown in other pictures I have seen of Gemini frames in copies of French magazines in the 70s and 80s.
